The Foil winding machine is designed to wind a wide variety of LV Coils for Transformers using copper or aluminium foils.This machine is capable of winding large foil cross sections with high winding tensions and is designed to wind round & ovalshaped coils. Insulation spools are mounted on pneumatically actuated expanding shafts which are supported on the freeends by swivelling tail stocks.Closed-loop tension control system for conductor foil allows very good dynamic response and wide control range. It alsoresults in seam-less transition between winding and unwinding modes.The machine has an advanced, high efficiency, TIG welding unit /Cold press which welds the bus bar / lead -out to the foil.A high performance multi-axes motion controller governs the motion of the spindle & traverse units driven by AC Induction &Servo motors respectively.
